Maker of Pixel Adelaide · digital marketing specialist and web developer
Grigory Frolov built Pixel Adelaide — the isometric map that draws every building from the coast to the foothills on Light’s grid and puts every business on a card. The map runs on open data: OpenStreetMap, Adelaide Metro’s timetable feed, the South Australian heritage and school registers, the Australian Business Register, G-NAF and the ABS Census, cross-checked and refreshed on a schedule.
He has spent more than twenty years building websites and running digital marketing for businesses, working with Australian clients for years — local and technical SEO, web development, advertising and the analytics that tell you whether any of it worked. He runs Oz Web Expert.
He writes here about Adelaide the way the map sees it: street by street, building by building — which strip to eat on, how to get to the beach without a car, and what the open data says about the city.
He is currently looking to join an Australian team and relocate, and is open to roles that include visa sponsorship. If you are hiring, or know someone who is, he would be glad to hear from you.
